It is mandatory for coaches to attend one of the following in-person training meetings:

What is involved?
Are you interested in being a coach?
Part 1
On the Court
- Hold tryouts
- Run practices focused on drills, conditioning and strategy
- Organize match lineups
- Be available in the afternoons a couple of times a week for practices and meets
Part 2
Team Operations
- Manage team operations including registration, collection of funds and ordering of uniforms
- Handle school administration
- Follow rules and ensure compliance
Part 3
Relationships
- Mentor youth
- Facilitate communication between UHSPA and parents/students

Team registration · $2,000
What does the Registration Fee Cover?
Everything included when you register a High School team for the UHSPA season.
- Administration costs to run the UHSPA program including staff, coaches, and referees
- Team uniforms for players and coach in school colors with High School name and logo
- Weekly practice time at a local indoor facility for the duration of the season
- Seven weekly meets
- Regional championship and a State team championship for those who qualify
- Five Individual State Championships
- Trophies and medals at State Championships
- 50 balls (schools will be responsible for taking balls to the meets)
- 5 new paddles to each returning High School
- 20 new paddles to each new High School
- 1 portable net to each new High School
- Pickleball court line painting at your High School (outdoor or indoor)
